I’ve spent my entire career in digital marketing, design, and development — always with a boots-on-the-ground approach to technology. Sharing what I learn. Helping people get from A to B with tools they didn’t think they could use.
I’ve been an entrepreneur since 2008 — building things, shipping things, and figuring it out as I go ever since. That whole stretch has been one long lesson in helping people get from A to B with tools they didn’t think they could use. But the moment that changed everything came while I was running my own company, Tripleskinny.
That was the day I understood AI wasn’t a gimmick or a toy. It was a genuine game changer. I had just done something that should have required a team of engineers, alone, in a day, with AI as my collaborator. If I could do that — someone with zero coding background — then the gap between “I have an idea” and “I built the thing” had just collapsed for everyone.
And then my mom called me one afternoon and told me, point blank, that I needed to tell other people what I knew.
She was right. I’d been quietly using AI to do things that genuinely felt like magic — building entire products, automating the monotonous parts of running a business, freeing up hours of my week. Meanwhile, most of the smart, capable people I knew were still stuck staring at a blank ChatGPT window, not sure where to even begin.
FLUENT is my answer to that. It’s the thing I wish existed when I started — a way to get past the hardest part, the first inch, and into actually using AI on the work and the life you already have.
I’ve always wanted to build a “51% company” — one that passes the majority of its value to the people who do the real work, rather than funneling it to wealthy shareholders who never touch the product. I believe this isn’t just the right thing to do. I believe it’s smarter, more sustainable entrepreneurship.
When the people building a company share in what they create, the culture gets stronger, the work gets better, and — this is the part that matters most to me — people get to enjoy their lives more. That’s the whole point. A business should make the lives of the people inside it better, not just the balance sheets of the people who own it.
Technology should give people their time and their lives back. So should the companies that build it.
As a single dad, I genuinely couldn’t do what I do without AI. It’s not an abstraction or a productivity hack for me — it’s the thing that lets me work fewer hours while still giving my son a comfortable, secure life. Every hour AI gives back is an hour I get to spend being his dad.
