Privacy Policy

Your trust matters. This explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have — in plain language.

Last updated: June 6, 2026

1.Who we are & what this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how FLUENT ("FLUENT," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit afluent.ai, purchase or take our courses (including The First Inch), use the member portal, or otherwise interact with us.

By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2.Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you give us

  • Account & contact details — your name and email address when you create an account, buy a course, fill out a form, or join our email list.
  • Payment information — when you purchase, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number; we receive only confirmation of the transaction and limited billing details.
  • Anything you choose to send us — messages, support requests, questionnaire answers, or prompts you submit through the site.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on page, links clicked, and similar analytics.
  • Device & technical data — browser type, device type, operating system, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — see the Cookies section below.

3.How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, deliver, and maintain your access to courses and the member portal;
  • Process purchases and send receipts, access details, and important account notices;
  • Respond to your questions and provide support;
  • Send you updates, educational content, and offers (you can opt out of marketing at any time);
  • Operate our affiliate program and pay commissions where applicable;
  • Understand how the site is used so we can improve it; and
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats, and comply with our legal obligations.

4.Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and (where enabled) support advertising and affiliate tracking. Some cookies are essential to the site working; others are optional.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where we offer one, our cookie banner. Disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the site function. Our affiliate program uses a last-click cookie with a 60-day window to attribute referrals.

5.How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers — trusted companies that help us operate, such as our payment processor, email/hosting providers, analytics, and affiliate-tracking tools. They may only use your data to perform services for us.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FLUENT, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — if FLUENT is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6.Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of marketing communications.

If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR): you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To make a request, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

7.How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8.How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account login confidential.

9.Children & minors

FLUENT's courses are designed to be useful to people at every stage, including students. However, our site and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use our services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by our Terms on your behalf. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10.International users

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

12.How to contact us
