1. Who we are

afluent.ai is operated by AFLUENT LLC ("we", "us", "our"). Where these terms refer to "the course", they mean The First Inch and everything published inside the member portal.

2. The agreement

By buying the course, creating an account, or joining the affiliate programme, you accept these terms. If you are doing so for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept on its behalf. If you do not accept them, do not buy or register.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy the course or take part in the affiliate programme.

3. Your account

  • Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account is for one person. Course access is personal and not transferable.
  • Give us accurate details, particularly your email address — it is how we deliver access and any affiliate payments.
  • Tell us promptly at aaron@afluent.ai if you think someone else is using your account.

4. What you are buying

A single payment gives you access to the course for as long as we operate it, including material we add later. That is what we mean by lifetime access: the lifetime of the product, not a guarantee that any specific lesson, tool or feature will exist forever.

We may update, reorganise, replace or retire individual lessons and features. We will not remove so much that the course stops being substantially what you paid for.

5. Payment and refunds

  • Prices are shown at checkout and are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes that apply where you live.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Refunds: if the course is not what you expected, write to us and ask. We would rather refund you than have you keep something you do not want. Requests made within 30 days of purchase are granted as a matter of course; after that we will still look at it.
  • A refunded purchase ends course access, and any affiliate commission attached to that sale is reversed.

6. The affiliate programme

Every account gets a referral link. If someone buys the course through it, you earn a flat $51.

  • Commission is earned on completed, non-refunded purchases only, and is paid monthly once cleared.
  • Referrals are attributed by cookie for a limited window from the click. If a buyer clears cookies, uses a different device, or arrives through another affiliate's link later, attribution may differ.
  • You may not bid on our brand name in paid search, impersonate us, promise outcomes on our behalf, spam, or use misleading claims to get clicks.
  • Where required by law — including the US FTC endorsement guidelines and equivalents elsewhere — you must disclose clearly that your link is an affiliate link.
  • You may not buy the course through your own link, or arrange for others to route purchases through your link artificially.
  • We may withhold or reverse commission on sales we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, self-referred, or obtained in breach of these terms, and may close an affiliate account for the same reasons.

7. How you may use the material

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the course material for your own work, including work you do for your employer or clients.

You may copy prompts out of the course and use them freely, including commercially. Prompts are tools, and we do not claim ownership of what you produce with them.

8. What you may not do

  • Share your login, or give access to people who have not bought the course.
  • Republish, resell, or redistribute the lessons, cheat sheets or the prompt library as your own product or as part of one.
  • Use the material to build a competing course or training product.
  • Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the content.
  • Attempt to break, probe or circumvent the site's access controls.

9. Our content and yours

The lessons, writing, design, code and branding are ours or licensed to us, and remain so. Anything you create using what you learn is yours; we claim nothing in it.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may act on them without owing you anything for it.

10. AI tools and third parties

The course teaches you to use AI tools made by other companies. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their output, availability, pricing or terms, and we are not affiliated with them unless we say so explicitly. Your use of those tools is governed by their terms, not ours.

AI output can be wrong, and confidently so. Everything the course teaches assumes you check important work before you rely on it. Do not treat AI output — or this course — as professional, legal, medical or financial advice.

11. No guarantee of results

Any earnings figures shown, including on the affiliate calculator, are illustrative arithmetic and not a forecast, promise or typical result. What you earn depends entirely on who you share your link with and whether they buy. Most people who join an affiliate programme earn little or nothing.

Equally, we cannot promise the course will save you a particular amount of time or produce a particular outcome at work.

12. Availability and changes

We try to keep the site up but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change these terms; if a change is material we will say so on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

13. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and where the breach is serious we may do so without a refund.

14. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to that, the course is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from decisions you make based on AI output. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here removes consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

Note for the site owner: governing law is set to Texas. Have a lawyer review this document before relying on it — it describes AFLUENT LLC accurately, but it is not legal advice.
